Glamour is sensual luxury, like a well proportioned model in oodles of soft silk conveying an image of high class sensuality. A small quote on what glamour is "glamour is the impression of attraction or fascination that a particularly luxurious or elegant appearance creates". There is no glamour portrait without actual glamour. Some people may call any sensual picture a glamour portrait, but that doesn't make it so. Whilst the model in the above picture is attractive, the pose is not particularly elegant and most definitely not glamorous. She is a beauty in a natural style wearing a very basic and non-glamorous set of underwear, also the sense of luxury is not present. You may possibly think I care too much about correct filing of art under the appropriate categories, but if we don't we'll have trouble finding the stuff we like and DA becomes even more messy than it already is. We might as well file any picture as "aquatic animal portrait" or "artistic nude" regardless of the actual content.
You have my respect. Only a few weeks ago I was wrong about the pin-up category. I thought it was only a pinup if it was done in the 40's and 50's style, but it appears that pinups go along with the times and that there are plenty of valid pinups in contemporary fashions. You live and learn. Have a great day, I hope everything settles down in the US as soon as possible.
